Kansas needs to go all-in on landing top 2026 recruit Tyran Stokes after his standout showing at the McDonald’s All-American Game.
The highly sought-after prospect, who has yet to commit, delivered an impressive performance that reinforced why Kansas can’t afford to miss out on him. Stokes has been weighing his options for a while, with the decision seemingly down to Kansas and Kentucky. Although Kentucky appeared to have the edge at one point, recent momentum suggests Kansas may now be in the lead.
During the McDonald’s All-American Game, Stokes showcased his all-around ability, finishing with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists. Beyond the stat sheet, he also made a strong impact defensively, using his athleticism to block shots and disrupt plays.
