Two Stars Added: Auburn Basketball Adds French 7-Footer to 2026-27 Roster
Auburn basketball’s 2026-27 roster has been strengthened with the addition of 7-foot center Narcisse Ngoy, who most recently competed in France’s Elite 2 League.
The signing was announced on Tuesday morning through a press release shared on Auburn’s social media, which included a statement from head coach Steven Pearl:
“Narcisse Ngoy is being welcomed to the program with great excitement. He is a high-upside young man whose toughness, physicality, and team-first mindset are evident in everything he does,” Pearl said. “A strong feel for the game is displayed on both ends of the floor. His instincts, ability to catch and finish around the basket, rim protection, and willingness to embrace contact are expected to make an immediate impact while filling a significant need for the team.”
The addition of Ngoy addresses the vacancy left by KeShawn Murphy, whose college eligibility has expired. In France, Ngoy dominated statistically, averaging 10.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game, leading the league in rebounds and blocks.
