Their aggressive offseason moves have paid off, as they now boast the best record in baseball. But even with a strong roster, there’s still room for improvement — particularly in the bullpen.
One name that stands out as a potential game-changer? St. Louis Cardinals closer Ryan Helsley. A deal for Helsley could be exactly what Detroit needs to take its team from a postseason hopeful to a legitimate title contender — and it’s a trade they’re well-positioned to make.
