JUST IN: Duke Blue Cayden Boozer Send Two Word Shocking Message Regarding Duke Newest 5-Star Commit.

After a surprising loss in the 2025 Final Four, Duke head coach Jon Scheyer wasted no time reshaping his team following the departure of several key contributors.

Freshmen stars Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel, and Khaman Maluach all entered the 2025 NBA Draft, along with veterans Sion James and Tyrese Proctor.

In response, Scheyer quickly rebuilt a competitive roster for the 2025–26 season, beginning with a strong recruiting class.

The Blue Devils had already secured commitments from three five-star recruits according to 247 Sports: twins Cameron and Cayden Boozer — sons of former Duke standout Carlos Boozer — and Nikolas Khamenia. Now, they’ve added a fourth elite prospect to the class. On Thursday, Italian guard Dame Sarr committed to Duke, as reported by On3’s Joe Tipton.

Crystal Balls Officially Coming In For Dame Sarr To Duke!

“Dame Sarr, On3’s No. 17 player in the 2025 class, has committed to Duke, he told  Tipton posted on Instagram. Sarr, a 6’6”, 18-year-old wing, chose Duke over Kansas and has been playing professionally with FC Barcelona.

Cayden Boozer showed his excitement by commenting on Sarr’s commitment post. Sarr had recently impressed scouts with a 17-point, four-rebound performance at the Nike Hoop Summit in April. While he was initially projected to land at Kansas under coach Bill Self, a visit to Duke’s campus shifted his decision.

“Duke was my dream school,” Sarr told ESPN. “I watched a lot of college basketball this year, especially Duke. I played alongside Jabari Parker this season, who’s also a Duke alum. When the opportunity came, I had to go for it.”
