Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys Among Teams Set to Star in Upcoming ‘Hard Knocks’ Seasons
The popular NFL documentary series Hard Knocks is returning with not just one, but two highly anticipated editions—and two of the league’s most talked-about franchises will take center stage.
The Buffalo Bills, led by reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen, will headline the training camp edition of the series for the first time in franchise history. That season will premiere on August 5 at 8 p.m. ET on HBO Max, offering fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Buffalo’s preparation for the 2025 season.
Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys will return to Hard Knocks for the in-season edition, which is scheduled to begin airing in December. This version will not only feature the Cowboys but will spotlight the entire NFC East division—including the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, and New York Giants—bringing added intrigue to one of the NFL’s most storied and competitive divisions.
This will mark the fourth appearance for the Cowboys on Hard Knocks, their first since 2021. For the Eagles and Commanders, it will be their first time ever featured on the series. The Giants will make their second appearance, having participated in the 2024 season.
Last season’s in-season version of the show highlighted the AFC North, a division that saw both the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers make playoff appearances, drawing strong viewer interest and critical acclaim for its inside look at high-stakes football.
The addition of the Bills marks a new chapter for the franchise, as fans will get unprecedented access to the team’s training camp environment and locker room dynamics. With a reshaped roster and lofty expectations following an offseason of major personnel changes, Buffalo promises to be a compelling watch.
Both editions of Hard Knocks will be produced in collaboration with NFL Films and continue to deliver the cinematic, immersive storytelling the series has become known for.
